VICTIM IDENTIFIED IN FRIDAY SH 105 FATAL CRASH

Friday afternoon Kimberly Gilbert, 53 of Panorama Village had just gotten off work. She pulled onto SH 105 near Highland Hollow and failed to yield right of way A Dodge pickup t-boned her vehicle. Conroe Police and fire were dispatched to the scene along with MCHD. Gilbert was pronounced deceased. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded to the scene and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. Conroe Police investigated the crash. No charges were filed against the pickup driver who was not injured.
