At 8:41 pm Saturday night multiple calls came in in reference to a person struck on Interstate 45 near Lake Front Circle. Woodlands Fire along with MCHD responded. A 45-year-old female was found deceased in the middle of the southbound lanes of I-45. DPS Investigators believe she attempted to cross the freeway when she was struck. She was first struck by a 2022 Silverado pickup. At least two additional vehicles struck her. She has been identified as Stacey Spencer of Louisville, Kentucky. She was transported to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
