On Tuesday, November 12, at 2:32 AM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a shooting. Patrol Deputies responded to the 29000 block of Baltic Avenue, in Magnolia, Texas, where they discovered a 19 year old male, who had suffered a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses stated that the victim became angry when he and others were asked to leave this address. The victim then produced a rifle and threatened to shoot his father. A struggle over the rifle then ensued. The rifle discharged striking the 19 year old victim in the head.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Montgomery County Crime Scene were called to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim has been identified as Rodolfo Alvarez, 19 years old from Magnolia, Texas.
