Houston police homicide division investigators have released surveillance video of a wanted vehicle in the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy and the wounding of another juvenile at 6622 Narcissus that occurred about 3:50 a.m. on September 25.
The family of a 6-year-old boy who was killed in a drive-by shooting Friday in southeast Houston has now received more than $5,000 in donations.
“I want to thank everybody for caring about my family,” said his mother, Elizabeth Garcia.
Six-year-old Moises Jimenez died after he was shot in the back as he slept in his bed.
Eleven-year-old Manuel Jimenez, who was injured in the shooting as he slept, remains in intensive care. On Saturday, he learned his brother was killed.
The family is planning on using the $5,000 to cover medical and funeral expenses.
Nobody has been arrested in the deadly drive-by shooting.
