At 12:45 am Thursday Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call from a male stating there were trespassers on his property and were armed and possibly trying to break in on Oak Crossing Drive in Magnolia. Multiple units responded as additional calls came in from the male describing the suspects and reporting that there could be a shooting. As units arrived they confronted a male in the yard of the hope fitting the description of the suspects described. The male was armed with a long gun and had multiple orders to put it down. Instead, he raised the weapon. The deputies, fearing for their life fired various shots hitting the suspect in the abdomen. The deputies then provided medical attention until MCHD arrived and transported the male to Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands.
