MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On Friday, The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, comprised of MCSO SWAT members, the Conroe Police Department, and U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Gregory Taylor Olds at 1500 N. Beltway 8 E. in connection with 12 Aggravated Robberies in Montgomery County. Olds had active warrants in Harris County and was on parole for previous robberies.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes division worked tirelessly over the last two months to identify Olds, secure an arrest warrant, and pinpoint his movements and location.
Olds was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a Blue Warrant for felony parole violation and two first-degree felony Aggravated Robbery charges, with bond set at $500,000.
Sheriff Rand Henderson commended the hard work and dedication of law enforcement who “worked tirelessly to solve these cases and ensure the safety of our community”. He said the investigation is continuing in order to ensure a strong prosecution and see Olds held accountable.
