Montgomery County Deputies have arrested Leslie M. Dickerson 35, of 29811 Buffalo Canyon in Spring after he was indicted by the Pulaski County, Virginia Grand Jury Monday for the murder of his wife Mindy Damron Dickerson at their Virginia home on January 27, 2005.

Mindy Dickerson was found dead in her bed. She was found with scratches to her face, neck, mouth, nose, and knees. She also had blood in her hair. According to search warrants filed in 2005, police believed several pieces of evidence were staged around Mindy Dickerson’s body.

Last October her body was exhumed after investigators became aware that three brain samples used in autopsy were not hers. The medical examiner at the time ruled the death of  Mindy Dickerson to have been caused by a brain disease.

She was 26, years old at the time of her death.

Dickerson now awaits extradition back to Virginia on first degree murder charges,

In October of 2005 he was charged in Virginia with reckless driving.

Leslie Dickerson was in Pasadena on May 23, 2008 for theft of property greater than $20,000 but less than $100,000 and sentenced to 7 years probation in March of 2009.

Montgomery County has also made several family violence calls to his Spring home he shares with his wife and child.

He was remarried in Montgomery County on April 5, 2010.
