The app will allow the EMC agency to communicate with the public in real-time, giving SPD the ability to quickly convey important information to area residents faster and better than ever! Splendora Police issued the following statement:
“Chief Wieghat is excited to announce the release of a custom smartphone application. This app will serve as an innovative way for the police department to connect with Splendora residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone. This app will allow us to send out push alerts straight to your phone ranging from Weather Alerts to Crime Alerts. We continue evaluate the need for our Community and modify the app to better serve our community.
