On August 23, 2017, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an alarm call at Mikes Grocery located at 32002 TX Highway-249, Pinehurst, TX. Upon arrival deputies discovered a window had been broken out and entry was made into the business.
During the investigation, Deputies reviewed the video surveillance from the business, which showed two unknown suspects breaking into the business by utilizing a crow bar. Deputies reviewed video surveillance and described suspect number one as a black male, thin build, wearing a camouflage hat, gray hoodie sweat shirt, sweat pants and a gardener’s glove on his left hand.
Suspect number two is described as a black male, thin build, wearing a black hat, blue sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, he is seen smoking a cigarette as he enters the business.
The suspects stole several hundred dollars in cash from the inside the business by breaking into numerous video game machines. The suspects also stole numerous cartons of cigarettes. The suspects cause extensive damage to the ATM machine at the business, but were unsuccessful in getting inside.
