I am receiving reports of a “Montgomery County Republican Party Voter Guide” being distributed to voter’s doors in Montgomery County. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗴𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗖𝗥𝗣, or link to the official website of the MCRP, http://www.mcrptx.org
, but rather links to a website created by a splinter group claiming to be the Republican Party. The MCRP does not provide endorsements of ballot propositions or candidates in the November 2023 election. Our Bylaws only allow the Party to support or oppose issues in a nonpartisan election when the issue is clearly spelled out in the current Texas GOP Platform.
𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲” 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀. Publications like this do a great disservice to the hard-working Republicans of Montgomery County, erode confidence in the Party and should be denounced.
Since our Platform does not clearly address the issues on the November 2023 ballot, we are happy to provide resources to help voters make their own decisions on the ballot propositions. Montgomery County Republican State Representative Will Metcalf has prepared an excellent description of each Constitutional Amendment, which is accessible at https://drive.google.com/…/12EmWx1XSze4Gyn-ln…/view
Editor’s Note: If you’re a faithful MCPR follower, it’s likely due in part to knowing you can trust us, and we won’t shovel the leftist propaganda of mainstream media, or the “fake news” you get from well-meaning fly-by-night sites or social media groups.
We’ve been investigative reporters for decades and we’ve been covering Montgomery County for decades.
We can tell you WITHOUT ANY HESITATION Bryan Christ is the legitimate Chair of the only legitimate Montgomery County Republican Party, and he was handpicked the late Dr. Wally Wilkerson to be his successor. The links posted by Bryan Christ are to the legitimate MCRP.
(Check out the pic below – You’ll probably recognize several people. Oh, and that’s Chairman Bryan Christ in the front middle!)
