Warrant Round Up 2025

Last month, Justice of the Peace Judge Mack sent “Notices” notifying people with outstanding Misdemeanor Class C Warrants that an enforcement “roundup” would occur later this month. The notice advised people with warrants to take care of the warrants before deputies conducted the operation.

Constable Cash and Judge Mack remind the public of the serious nature of neglecting these warrants and urge everyone to make arrangements with the court before reaching this stage. Anyone who receives a notice about a warrant is strongly encouraged to call the Warrant Hotline at (936) 788-8380to resolve this matter without going to jail.

The second phase of this Warrant Roundup, conducted on March 12, 2025, was the Enforcement phase. Deputies from all five (5) Constable’s Offices were given a warrant list of wanted persons within their precinct. The list consisted of the wanted person’s name, current address, and the charge of anyone with outstanding Class C Warrants in Judge Mack’s court.

During this four-hour period, Deputies from the Constable’s offices attempted to serve over 200 warrants within the county. Constable Cash and Judge Mack wish to thank his partners Montgomery County Constables: Constable David Eason (Pct. 2); Constable Ryan Gable (Pct. 3); Constable Rowdy Hayden (Pct. 4); and Constable Chris Jones (Pct. 5) in their support of this operation.

Deputies cleared 40 warrants in JP 1, and six in other jurisdictions. Constable Cash stated, “This was a joint effort to lower the outstanding warrants in the Precinct 1 JP Court. Without the support from my fellow constables, this would not have been possible.
