WALLER COUNTY, TX- On Tuesday, the Waller County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 52-year-old man following an investigation into the December 2023 death of a three-month-old infant in Prairie View. The Prairie View Police Department initiated the case, following an incident that resulted in the baby’s death. Waller County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety then assisted PVPD. Shawn Kimble Washington is charged with Murder; with Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled w/Intent Serious Bodily Injury; and he had an active Blue Warrant revoking his parole. Washington remains held in the Waller County Jail.
