WEATHER UPDATE-POSSIBLE SNOW OR SLEET TONIGHT

Periods of light precipitation will continue through Thursday, then gradually taper off north to south Thursday night through Friday morning.
Temperatures will be cold enough aloft to generate a mixture of rain…possibly mixed with some sleet or snow for areas generally along and north of Interstate 10 tonight and Thursday morning. This may be observed from time-to-time if you are outside. However…no significant impacts are expected! The surface temperatures and roads will remain above freezing. No frozen accumulation is expected.
A similar scenario may occur again Thursday night into early Friday morning.
As the precipitation moves out and skies clear, we will be keeping an eye on the potential for freezing temperatures late Friday night and Saturday morning.
