District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
On March 7, Deputies K. Christiansen and S. Degner were notified of a family violence assault on S. Duck Creek Dr. The Deputies met with a female complainant who stated she and her husband had gotten into an argument and he struck her several times on the back of the head with his fist while they were in their vehicle headed home. Later the argument continued and her husband threw her on the bed and choked her. The 18 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 4:52am and taken to jail.
A 38 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:42pm, March 8, in the area of Kelly Road and Hwy 105 E by Deputy J. Kader for a public intoxication warrant and a failure to appear warrant, both out of Conroe PD. The Deputy was investigating a trespass call. The male was transported to jail.
On March 9, Deputy J. Reuvers responded to a residence on FM 1314 in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a male complainant and a male suspect. The male complainant was the brother of the male suspect’s fiancé. The male complainant and his sister got into a verbal argument and the male suspect charged down the hallway and grabbed the complainant and threw him against an entertainment center. The 23 year old male was arrested at 9:13pm and taken to jail.
On March 10, Deputies K. Underwood and K. Berger were dispatched to White Cedar Street in reference to a family violence assault. The female victim told the Deputy that her husband had come home intoxicated and kicked the door in and hit her several times. The victim’s mouth was bloodied and arms bruised. As she was explaining what happened her husband drove by and Deputy Underwood attempted to stop him. The male refused to comply with the Deputy’s instructions. Deputy Berger arrived and assisted getting the male out of the truck and under control. The 46 year old male from Willis was arrested at 12:50am, charged with assault, resisting arrest and DWI and was transported to jail.
On March 11, Deputy K. Albritton was dispatched to Taurus Court in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her ex-husband (whom she lives with) was intoxicated and passed out when she arrived home from work and noticed their eight year old son running around with no supervision. She attempted to wake her ex-husband and when he woke up he pushed her into a wall several times. The 35 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:30pm and transported to jail.
On March 12, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 200 block of W Montgomery. The male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 28 year old male from Willis was arrested at 12:39am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.
On March 12, Deputy K. Berger was sent to Drowsy Pine Dr. in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy entered the home and observed the male on top of his wife punching her on the face. The female’s face was severely swollen and mouth was bloodied. She had bruises on both arms. The 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:03am and taken to jail.
On March 13, Deputy S. Degner stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Hwy 105 and LaSalle. The vehicle was occupied by two males, both of whom were found to be intoxicated. The 27 year old male driver from Conroe was arrested at 3:52am and charged with DWI. The 30 year old male passenger from Montgomery was also arrested and charged with public intoxication. Both males were taken to jail.
On March 13, Deputy C. Santoro responded to the 12400 block of Woodcreek Drive in reference to a trespassing call. The Deputy located an intoxicated male who had crossed into a fenced in porch area. The 19 year old male from Hidalgo, TX, was arrested at 5:09am. The male advised he and his brother had been fighting prior to this. Deputy Santoro and Deputy K. Underwood located the brother, a 23 year old male from Willis, and arrested him for family violence assault. Both males were taken to jail.
District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On March 8, 2011, Deputy Jobe observed a motorcycle swerving across multiple lanes on Rayford Road. As Deputy Jobe approached the motorcycle to conduct a traffic stop, the motorcycle sped off at approximately 70 mph. The motorcycle finally pulled over in the 900 block of Rayford Road. The driver, 38-year-old male from Spring, had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath, was unsteady on his feet, and had bloodshot, glassy eyes. After conducting the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 8, 2011, Sergeant Viands was dispatched to 125 Sawdust Road for a Forgery in Progress. The suspect, 22-year-old female from Katy, was attempting to cash a fraudulent check. The account holder was contacted and stated that the check number the suspect was trying to cash, had actually been written that morning to pay an energy bill. The check the suspect had present to the bank was a computer generated check, which had raised the bank teller’s suspicion. The suspect was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On March 12, 2011, Deputy Christensen responded to an Officer Assist call on I-45 North at the Spring Creek Bridge. Upon arrival, Troopers had the suspect, 26-year-old male from Houston, detained on the ground. The suspect was secured and placed in Deputy Christensen’s patrol car for transport to the Montgomery County Jail. While en route to the jail, the suspect started kicking the door and window causing visible damage to the window frame, and damaging the door so that it would not open. Due to this, Deputy Christensen had to pull over at River Plantation. A jail van was dispatched to that location and the suspect was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Additional charges were filed against the suspect from Criminal Mischief – Damage to County Property.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 3/4/11 Deputy Martinez arrested a 17 year old male in the 19100 block of Irwin Keel. During the investigation it was learned the male poured sugar in the gas tank of his parent’s car because he was not getting his way and he wanted revenge for his parents disciplining him previously. The male was arrested and charged with Felony Criminal Mischief.
On 3/6/11 Deputy Logan was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival Logan learned the female also had a warrant for her arrest out of Liberty County. She was arrested and transported to jail in Conroe. She was also issued a citation for Class "C" Theft.
On 3/6/11 Deputy Holden was dispatched to an Assault on Trinity Way Drive. The victim stated he was at his friend’s house when the male punched him in the face with a closed fist causing his nose to bleed. The suspect then smashed the windows out of the victim’s truck. The male was arrested and charged with Felony Criminal Mischief and Misdemeanor Assault.
On 3/7/11 Deputy Amstutz stopped a vehicle for speeding on FM 1314 near Ferne Drive. Upon approaching the vehicle Amstutz detected a very strong odor of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Deputy Pickerill, Deputy Birch and K-9 partner "Argo" responded to the scene to assist with a search of the vehicle. After two different alerts from Argo, Deputy Amstutz located a backpack in the car that contained a large quantity of individually packaged plastic bags that contained Marijuana. The driver was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
On 3/8/11 Deputies Azwell and Bartoskewitz were dispatched to a Disturbance in Progress in the 23400 block of Community Drive. Contact was made with a male resident who admitted to discharging a shotgun at the ground. The male was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of Montgomery County. He was arrested, transported to jail and charged with violating a county ordinance of Discharging a Firearm and issued a citation for said offense.
On 3/10/11 Deputy White responded to a Disturbance in Progress on Owens Road. Upon arrival it was learned the disturbance between a male and female was over a dog. After identifying the female it was discovered she had an active arrest warrant out of Harris County. The warrant was confirmed and she was transported to jail in Conroe.
On 3/11/11 Deputy Logan conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. Upon identifying the driver he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest for Theft by Check out of Montgomery County. The driver was arrested and transported to East County jail without incident.
On 3/11/11 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to Tanager Lane in reference to an Animal Cruelty call. After meeting with the reportee Deputy Amstutz learned a neighbor had shot the reportee’s dog with a shotgun. The dog was critically wounded but alive. The male was arrested and charged with Felony Cruelty to Animals.
On 3/12/11 Deputy Evans was dispatched to a welfare check where a male was walking on the main lanes of the freeway. The male was located and identified and found to have two active warrants for his arrest out of Montgomery County. He was arrested and transported to jail in Conroe.
District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On March 12th Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to the area of SH 149 and SH249 in reference to a Welfare Check. Upon arrival the Deputy observed a Green Ford Escort in a parking lot. When the Deputy approached the vehicle he could see two Hispanic males asleep in the front seat of the vehicle. After waking up the two subjects the Deputy could detect a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on their breath and person. The deputy placed them under arrest for Public Intoxication and transported them to the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 9th Sergeant Hernandez and Deputy Corley was advised that there was an intoxicated male in the parking lot of Eddeys Lounge and Bar in the 37000 block of FM 1774. Upon arrival the Deputies made contact with the 21 year old male subject who was walking around with a Bud Beer Box with five unopened beers still in it. The subject stated he was trying to walk the five miles home from Tomball to Hazy Hollow. The subject had glassy eyes and a strong odor of marijuana coming from his breath. Sergeant Hernandez placed the subject into custody for Public Intoxication and while patting him down located small baggy containing Marijuana. Possession of Marijuana was added to his Arrest Record. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 9th Deputy Suarez was dispatched to Giant Hickory Road in reference to a Family Violence call. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with the 29 year old female Complainant had made the 911 call. It was discovered the female subject had an open felony warrant for Credit Card Abuse through our agency. The subject was detained and the warrant confirmed. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)
On March 8th Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle in the 13800 block of SH 105 W for failure to maintain a single lane. Upon making contact with the male driver it was suspicioned that he may be intoxicated. Several standard field sobriety tests were administered and the male was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The subject was also found to be in Possession of a Controlled Substance. The male was then placed into the Montgomery County Jail on both charges.
On March 8th Deputy Garner responded to the 1200 block of Snug Harbor in regards to a Disturbance. It was learned that the male and female on location had been involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when the female was assaulted by the male. There were no serious injuries sustained and the male was arrested for Assault (Family Violence) Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 9th Deputy Rex responded to the 22800 block of Bailey Grove Rd for the report of a Trespasser. The Complainant reported observing a male subject trespassing on his property. When located nearby by deputies, the male was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm and articles that had been taken from inside complainant’s vehicle. The male subject was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property, Burglary of a Vehicle and an outstanding Warrant. The male was then placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 11th Sr. Sgt. Smith responded to an establishment in the 16200 block of SH 105 W in regards to a Disturbance. Deputy’s met with a group of individuals in the parking lot who reported being confronted by another group of males who made threats toward them while displaying firearms and other type of weapons. The suspect’s fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. This case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
On March 12th Deputy Fluellen responded to the 3200 block of Woodwind in regards to an Assault. It was learned that a male and female had been involved in an altercation in which the female was assaulted. Injuries sustained were minor and did not require emergency medical attention. The male was arrested for Assault (Family Violence) Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)
On March 8, 2011, Deputy Rodriguez arrested a 26-year-old male from Magnolia after a traffic stop on Golden Shadow. The suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail for Possession of Marijuana. The suspect also received a citation for expired Registration and Inspection Stickers.
On March 11, 2011, Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to a Theft in progress at 4545 S. Panther Creek Drive. Upon arrival, Deputy Ortiz met with the complainant stated she heard a loud crash and then her car alarm activate. The complainant observed two suspects burglarize her vehicle and drive away. The suspects, 27-year-old male from Houston and a 30-year-old Male from Splendora, were stopped a short time later by a Shenandoah PD officer for a traffic stop. The complainant was able to identify them as the people who broke into her vehicle. Deputy Ortiz contacted the District Attorney’s Office, charges for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle were accepted, and both suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 12, 2011, Deputy Martin conducted an investigation of underage drinking and possible narcotics sales on Sylvan Forest. During the course of the investigation, a bag containing cocaine was located outside near a vehicle and another bag containing marijuana was located inside the residence. The suspect, 18-year-old male, was taken into custody, charged with Possession of Marijuana, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On March 13, 2011, Deputy Conklin, while working foot patrol on Waterway Avenue, observed the suspect, 31 year old male from The Woodlands, staggering in the roadway. Deputy Conklin made contact with the suspect and observed him to have red glassy bloodshot eyes, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, and slurred speech. The suspect was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. At the jail, an inventory of the suspect’s pockets was conducted and a bag containing cocaine was located. Additional charges were added for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

3/9 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 17 year old male from Houston for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $100 worth of clothing from J.C. Penny’s. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
3/10 – Deputy Carson arrested a 19 year old male from Spring for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $50.00 worth of accessories (sunglasses) from Sears. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
3/11 – Deputy Weatherford arrested a 24 year old male and a 25 year old female, both from Cleveland, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $143.98 worth of baby clothes from Sears. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
3/11 – Deputy CE Roberts arrested an 18 year old female and a 17 year old female, both from Spring, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $179.81 worth of clothes and jewelry from Sears. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
3/11 – Deputy Evans arrested a 21 year old male and a 21 year old female, both from Houston, for Shoplifting at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspects attempted to take $646.45 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. The female suspect was also charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug due to her having in her possession a pill bottle with various pills inside including Vicodin, Soma, Xanax, and others without a prescription.
