Just after 9 am Wednesday morning NMC Fire responded to a reported crash involving a Kia Soul and a garbage truck on Rose Road near Rose Royal. Units arrived on the scene to find a roll-off container truck in the ditch a KIA Soul with heavy damage and a male in his 20’s trapped and unconscious. Crews immediately went to work cutting the victim out of the vehicle. He was transported in critical condition to HCA Conroe. The driver of the truck was uninjured. According to DPS, the truck was northbound on Rose Road entering a curve. The KIA was southbound and crossed into the southbound lane striking the truck. Rose Road was closed for almost 3-hours as the investigation continued.
Lots of people have lost their lives on that curve. They must not show the Gory wrecks in drivers education anymore.
