Just after 9 pm, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a white Ford Expedition on SH 105 West at Old Highway 105 near Montgomery. The vehicle failed to stop and sped to speeds to over 100mph. The driver continued down 105, through a subdivision and back onto FM 3083 continuing to FM 3083. Once they got to I-45 the driver fled north to FM 830 then west toward Lake Conroe. That is where officials lost him. They were able to get a license plate. A Montgomery County Precinct 2 Deputy Constable responded to the 14400 block of Enchanted Waters in Willis and located the vehicle several doors down from the suspect’s home. The deputies were alerted the suspect had an open felony warrant from Harris County for illegal dumping. He was also known to be aggressive toward officers. Deputies went to the home and were told he was not there. They did do a search of the home while the suspect’s mother was present but he was not located. A search of the area was started. A short time later a call came in telling Deputies the suspect was still inside the home. As they approached the home they spotted the suspect who they had mug shots of inside the home. As they made entry the suspect produced a knife and moved toward officers. They attempted to taze the suspect but it was ineffective. The suspect then advanced with the knife and ignoring commands. He was shot multiple times by a Montgomery County Deputy who has been on the force 14-months, a Panorama Officer of 3-years and a Montgomery County Precinct 2 Deputy Constable of 14-years. The suspect identified as 45-year-old Christopher Alan Noe was pronounced deceased on the scene. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack ordered an autopsy and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. The Texas Rangers, Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and the Montgomery County Shoot Team all remain on the scene investigating.
