willis police department press release-body found

On Tuesday, October 9,  Willis police officers were dispatched to 12,709 IH-45 North for a welfare check in front of the business of Sports Clips. The reportee that called in the welfare check told MCSO dispatch the vehicle had been parked for approximately one week and there was a person inside the vehicle that was unresponsive. The reportee also gave the license plate of the vehicle to MCSO dispatch. The license plate of the vehicle came back to a person that was reported missing/endangered due to suicidal threats through MCSO on October 2. When officers arrived on scene they observed white female inside the Chevy Tahoe in the third row seat lying on her back. The female was obviously deceased and Judge Spikes was called to the scene and pronounced the female dead. The female was then transported to the Montgomery County Forensics Center in Conroe where autopsy results are pending. This case is still under investigation at this time with help from the Sheriff’s Department and the Montgomery County DA’s office.
