Highway construction in Montgomery County is well under way. With the 249 project from Tomball to eventually College Station the need for workers has come into play. Williams Brothers Construction is looking for truck drivers to move the millions of yards of material needed for the road. In addition Spaw Glass is also looking for skilled laborers.
In East Montgomery County the same holds true as construction has started on the Grand Parkway from US 59 to Interstate 10. Segments H and I will span from New Caney to Baytown while passing near the Crosby and Huffman areas. Construction there is expected to end in 2022.
