Witnesses say he body slammed a girl over a cell phone

On 2/6/2016 Deputy Rollins was dispatched to the 200 block of Kellyn Court in reference to an assault family violence call. Upon arrival Deputy Rollins made contact with the male witness who stated she observed 24-year-old Matthew Thomas Davis slam a female to the ground during an argument. After making contact with the female victim and Davis, it was found that the male had picked the female up and body slammed her while arguing over a cell phone. Davis was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail for assault family violence.

On February 3, Deputy Savage and Wroski were dispatched to the 10400 block of Timber Switch Rd. in reference to a 911 hang up. Upon arrival deputies made contact with resident William Phillip Hollnagel, 51, who was found to have active warrants. Warrants were confirmed and male was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On February 3, Deputy Campos responded to a disturbance call in the 9000 block of Ramzi Dr. off of Willis Waukegan. Upon arrival it was determined that 38-year-old Cody Carlton Couch had assaulted his uncle. Couch was arrested for assault family violence and transported to Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $1,500.

 

 

Elsewhere in District 1 – Lt. Kevin Ray (North County)

On 2/15/2016 Deputy Lambert was dispatched to Conroe Regional Medical Center in reference to an intoxicated person. Upon investigation it was determined that the male was causing a disturbance in the emergency room. It was determined that the male would be a danger to himself and others due to the introduction of alcohol and/or drugs. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On 2/2/2016 Deputy Parsons responded to a family violence call. Upon arrival Deputy Parsons met with the male suspect who admitted he had been in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. It was determined that the male had struck and threatened the female victim. The male was arrested for terroristic threat and assault family violence.

On 2/3/2016 Deputy Lamphier responded to 14200 block of Ravine Run to serve a warrant on a subject. Upon arrival Deputy Lamphier made contact with the wanted individual, arrested him, and placed him in jail.

On 02/04/2016 while on routine patrol in the 13400 block of Rocky Rd. Sr. Sgt. Berger observed a truck driving in the center of the roadway and speeding. The vehicle was stopped and contact was made with the male driver. The male driver was unable to pass the field sobriety test and refused to give a breath or blood sample. A Blood warrant was issued and a blood sample was taken. Male was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense.

On 2/7/2016 while on a routine traffic stop in the 14000 block of Shadow Bay, Deputy Parsons made contact with a male driver who was found to have active warrants out of Montgomery County. Warrants were confirmed and male was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On 2/7/2016 Deputy Merlos was patrolling in the area of Jefferson Chemical Rd. and Hwy 105 E., when he observed a passenger car traveling at a high rate of speed. Deputy Merlos notice the vehicle was traveling along side of another vehicle at approximately 110 mph. Deputy Merlos activated his emergency lights and the vehicle stopped. The male driver was arrested for racing on the highway and was transported to Montgomery County Jail. While in route to the jail the driver stated he had been racing on that road for 10 years and has never been caught.
