Early Thursday afternoon a female driver was driving northbound on FM 1010/Plum Grove Road in Liberty County in a Saturn Vue and pulling a trailer with two 4-wheelers. With her were her 3 young children ages 4 to 11.. A brief rain shower had just gone through making the road slick. As she came out of a curve the vehicle slid into the ditch. She overcorrected coming back up onto the road at County Road 349 and ran under an 18-wheeler dump truck that was driving southbound. The impact ripped part of the roof off the vehicle. The female driver suffered a laceration to the hand. Her children were not injured. The female driver and children were transported to the hospital to be evaluated. DPS investigated the crash. This was the second crash of the day on this road which suffered an extensive amount of damage from Hurricane Harvey. Just after 2 am this morning Montgomery County Precinct 4 was involved in a pursuit of a Ford Focus which flipped in the curve just a few hundred yards from this afternoons crash,
