Just before 11 pm, witnesses say a female, driving a Dodge Charger came off of Crockett Trace Drive onto SH 105 East spinning tires. She lost control spun and was struck by an eastbound box truck. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage but there were no injuries. DPS was dispatched to the scene along with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. As a deputy arrived and spoke with the female she appeared impaired. When asked for her identification she became agitated and began to physically fight with the deputy as he tried to restrain her. She was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
