WOMAN CRITICAL AFTER HIT AND RUN

A woman had just left a club on Mason Road near Kingsland in Katy close to 2am. As she and her companion were southbound on Mason Road a verbal altercation took place. The female got out of their vehicle while it was in the center lane and was struck by another vehicle which was southbound on Mason Road. The 37-year-old female was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston in critical condition. Harris County deputies were able to locate the striking vehicle in a nearby subdivision.  It was abandon. They are now looking for that vehicles driver.
