HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On April 17, deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office successfully apprehended a wanted fugitive, 44-year-old Marshall Tyler, following a warrant service operation in the 300 block of Kirkstall Drive.
Deputies had received credible information regarding Tyler’s whereabouts and moved quickly to investigate. Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with 42-year-old Regina Chevalier. During the encounter, Chevalier allegedly provided false information in an effort to mislead deputies and prevent Tyler’s capture.
Despite her attempt to delay the investigation, Deputies located and apprehended Tyler as he tried to flee through the back door of the residence. Authorities confirmed that Tyler had an open third-degree felony warrant, or “blue warrant”, issued by pardons and parole.
“Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Marshall Tyler was arrested for his open felony warrant. His total bond and court information have not been set at this time. Regina Chevalier was charged with Hindering Apprehension. Her bond was set at $100 out of County Court 8,” Constable Mark Herman said.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials continue to remind the public that hindering law enforcement is a criminal offense.
