Glenn Gerald Jeane who walked out of Herman Hospital in Houston after learning he was wanted has been captured.
On January 19, 2010 Jeane, driving a motorcycle with Victoria Parks age 18 on the rear was involved in a chase that killed Parks.
Woodbranch Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on US59 North for a licence plate violation. It was at that point Jeane sped up top over 120mph and led police on a chase that ended in the northern city limits of Cleveland.
As Jeanes exited the freeway on North Washington, still at a high rate of speed , he failed to negotiate the curve.
Jeane ran through a field jumping a drainage ditch which ejected both riders. Parks died a few days later. Jeane who was taken to Herman Hospital in what was believed to be extremely critical condition walked out of the hospital when he learned he was wanted.
He was arrested last Friday on multiple charges including manufacture and delivery, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of dangerous drugs, unlawful use of a criminal instrument and possession.
In addition Texas Department of Pardons and Parole issued a Blue Warrant for Jeane and Liberty County filed Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon for death of Parks.
He remains in the Montgomery County Jail on a total of $200,000 in bonds.
