Fire units from Woodlands, South County, and Porter along with the Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office have cleared the intersection of Budde and Sawdust Road. This was after a call for a suspicious package was received. The first units on the scene found an orange Pelican-type box on the side of the road. It looked as if had been struck by a vehicle. After close inspection, it turned out to contain a 60-volt battery. The theory is that a deer hunter had it in the back of his truck to use for a deer feeder when it fell out at the intersection.
