Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Forestview Apartments in the 4500 block of South Panther Creek in The Woodlands last night around 9:40 PM.
When deputies arrived they found that two female victims had been unloading groceries from their car when three suspects ran out of a nearby tree line. One suspect was brandishing a pistol and all three were wearing bandanas over their faces that had holes cut out for eyes and mouth. The suspects demanded the victims hand over their purses. One of the victims was holding her 17 month son and nearly dropped the child when her purse was pulled from her shoulder.
The victims told deputies that the suspects fled on foot with their purses through the tree line toward an adjoining apartment complex and that a gunshot was fired into the air as they ran away.
Suspect descriptions are vague but they are believed to be black males in their late teens or early twenties and wore baggy blue jeans and white tee shirts.
