MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On Thursday, April 18, 2024, Pct. 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigation Division executed a residential search warrant at a home in Shenandoah. The warrant stemmed from a Pct. 3 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) /Human Trafficking Detective receiving a Cyber Tip into the offense of Invasive Visual Recording. The initial investigation was derived from the defendant being associated with several videos depicting young girls in public areas such as The Woodlands Mall, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and local parks within Montgomery County, Texas. More specifically the videos would focus on the young girls’ genital areas (clothed) with other videos were found depicting juvenile females undressing inside the Forever 21 dressing room in The Woodlands Mall.
While reviewing the videos, investigators identified Taylor Roy, as the person making the recordings. Detectives say they could see the reflection of Roy’s face in the videos, and he they say he was wearing his security guard uniform while making the illegal recordings. Detectives confirmed Roy was working as a security guard at The Woodlands Mall while allegedly recording the young girls.
Execution of the residential search warrant allegedly yielded several of the illegal videos from inside Roy’s home. Taylor Roy’s wife, Tasha Roy, was interviewed on scene and allegedly told Detectives she also contributed to the recording and creation of the videos in question.
Additionally, Detectives learned Taylor Roy is a tennis coach for children between the ages of 8 and 17, in The Woodlands and Spring areas. Both Taylor Roy and Tasha Roy were charged in April 2024, with the felony offense of Invasive Visual Recording.
Over the past several months, Pct. 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s ICAC Detective relentlessly investigated additional findings to present to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office that resulted in the charge of Indecency with a Child / Exposes.
An arrest warrant was issued for Taylor Roy in December 2024, resulting in him surrendering to law enforcement January 4, 2025.
If you believe you or your child may have been victim of their recordings, please contact the Pct. 3 Constable’s Office at 281-364-4211 and ask to speak with a Detective, Reference case# 24E015260.
