Over 350 Wounded Warriors from different branches of the military arrived at Bush Airport Friday morning.This was the first stopping point on their way to Port O’Connor, Texas where they will spend the weekend fishing. and enjoying other activities.
The yearly event was sponsored by the organization Warrior’s Weekend which is based out of Port O’Connor.
Hundreds came out to Terminal C to meet the men and women as their flights arrived. Honor Guards from Houston Fire Department, Houston Police Department, TSA, DPS, and Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office also attended.
