But you may not know what it really means…
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- In Precinct 4, some may be saying “Boohoo” instead of just “Boo” because Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s Office has 50 Units on-duty, using various transportation including bicycles, horses, and golfcarts. They’re making sure registered sex offenders aren’t trying to hand out candy and patrolling roadways to make sure people are abiding by the law and those who are out trick-or-treating feel safe.
“Halloween night trick-or-treating is one of the few childhood traditions that has endured from generation to generation,” Constable Hayden said. “Our goal, and the goal of other agencies, it to make sure today’s children and today’s families have the same opportunity we had, as children, to make wonderful Halloween night memories.”
The Constable said units were spread out very well, in addition to other agencies on duty. Nobody should assume because they don’t see any law enforcement that no law enforcement sees them. If they do, Constable Hayden said they’ll be given a ride and introduced to some folks dressed as jailers and their “treat” will be a jumpsuit and photo session.Â
