SPRING, TX – October 21, 2026 – The Kailee Mills Foundation will bring together community volunteers and local partners on Saturday, October 24, to clean and beautify the roadside area surrounding Kailee’s Cross on Rothwood Road in Spring, Texas.
The cleanup takes place just days before October 28, marking nine years since 16-year-old Kailee Mills tragically lost her life in a motor vehicle crash at this location. Kailee had momentarily removed her seat belt before the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. Her three friends, who remained buckled, survived.
Today, Kailee’s Cross serves as a powerful reminder that wearing a seat belt can mean the difference between life and death. Through education, awareness, and support, the Kailee Mills Foundation continues her legacy by working to save lives and protect families.
