MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- As previously reported, Montgomery County Offices, including the Sheriff’s Office, are experiencing issues with phone calls. The issue began Wednesday afternoon and lies with the service provider. Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough posted the following update around lunchtime Thursday,
“Currently, due to an ongoing phone carrier technical issue all inbound calls to the county are not coming through properly. This is affecting multiple private businesses and government agencies within the region. The carrier is working to resolve the issue with no ETA for completion at this time. This is not affecting 911 or emergency response services, but normal calls to our offices across the count are affected.”
Again, MCSO says 911 is working BUT – DO NOT CALL 911 FOR NON-EMERGENCIES!
