SHARE SHARE SHARE Right now we have 4 moms and their nursing puppies in our shelter, all hoping for a rescue to step up and give them a soft place to land. Their puppies are still tiny and dependent on them, and while our shelter team is working hard to provide care, attention, and love, a shelter environment simply isn’t the ideal setting for moms raising babies. Young families thrive best in a quieter, more comfortable environment where they can settle in, relax, and focus on growing strong and healthy. Each one of these moms has been incredibly loving with our staff and volunteers despite all the changes and stress they’ve been through. They have been gentle, sweet, and trusting. All just wonderful girls raising their babies the best they can. Unfortunately, all 4 moms are heartworm positive, which means they will also need treatment once they are finished caring for their puppies. A rescue stepping in would not only help these puppies grow up in a cozy place, but would also give these moms the opportunity to receive the medical care they deserve after spending so much energy caring for everyone else. We need your help getting these families seen. Please share, share, share. The right rescue may not be following our page yet, but your share could put these mamas and babies in front of the person who says “yes.” We need these families out as soon as possible so they can start the next chapter of their lives somewhere warm, safe, and full of hope.
