SPLENDORA POLICE DEPARTMENT POSTED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
SPLENDORA, TX – On September 20, 2026, the Splendora Police Department received a report regarding an alleged sexual assault.
Following the initial report, the Splendora Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division launched an extensive investigation into the allegations. Through investigative efforts and evidence obtained, investigators established probable cause and secured a felony arrest warrant for Jody Binnion for the offense of Sexual Assault, in violation of Texas Penal Code § 22.011.
Following the issuance of the warrant, members of the Splendora Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Division, Patrol Division, and Criminal Interdiction Unit coordinated their efforts and successfully executed the felony arrest warrant.
This coordinated operation demonstrates the department’s commitment to utilizing its specialized divisions and personnel to locate individuals wanted for serious criminal offenses and ensure they are brought before the judicial system.
