SAN JACINTO COUNTY, TX- A 56-year-old Willis man faces a DWI charge after deputies investigated a report of a reckless driver who struck a mailbox near the intersection of Texas 150 and Texas 945.
Deputies with San Jacinto County Sheriff Sam Houston’s Office responded to the area during the day shift, after receiving a report of the crash. Deputies located the driver, Kenneth Knight, and investigated the circumstances surrounding the incident. Following the investigation, deputies arrested Knight and charged him with Driving While Intoxicated, according to the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office.
SJCSO did not release additional details about the crash or any injuries that may have occurred.
