Aggravated Robbery/Credit Card Abuse/Evading Arrest

On May 20, 2017, Harris County Precinct 4, Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to an Aggravated Robbery call in the 18500 block of Cypress Lake Village Drive. The complainant reported that a person know as Raul Bahena had approached the vehicle, asked for a cigarette and walked away.  Raul returned a few minutes later and pointed a semi-automatic handgun and stole the complainant’s property. Recognizing that the gun appeared to be unloaded when Raul racked the slide of the gun back multiple times, the complainant drove over a curb to get away. Deputies were able to locate Raul and place him under arrest.

Later that day, Constable Deputies located Victor Bahena, Raul’s brother, who was in possession of and observed on video using the complainant’s stolen credit cards. Victor fled on foot and was located by a Precinct 4 K-9 Unit and placed under arrest.

“Raul Bahena was arrested, booked into Harris County Jail, and felony charges of Aggravated Robbery. Victor Bahena was arrested, booked into Harris County Jail, for Evading Arrest and Credit Card Abuse.” – Precinct 4 Constable, Mark Herman
