On Sunday, March 12, 2017, Conroe Police were dispatched to a burglary at Lone Star Executive Airport. Employees discovered numerous avionics instrumentation panels and other equipment was stolen from multiple aircraft and hangars on property. The property stolen was in excess of $250,000 dollars.
Conroe Police Department Detectives developed and followed up on investigative leads which led to the recovery and apprehension of the burglary suspect in Katy, Texas this morning. The suspect is identified as Hugo Edmundo Hugo Rincon Urrea, DOB 07/28/1995, of Houston.
Rincon Urrea was arrested for Theft of property, a 2nd degree felony, and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
