DEMAND LETTER FOR REPAYMMENT OF FUNDS DUE COUNTY CIRCULATED IN COMMISSIONERS COURT

Monday morning Commissioners Court started as normal with presentations by the United Way, Montgomery County Extension Office and a “Teen Safe Driving Proclamation” presented to Constable Rowdy Hayden’s son Jacob after he completed a Safe Driving School in Porter and was top in his class.

Not to long after Commissioners went into closed session to discuss the letter issued by Montgomery County J. D. Lambright to Alliance Development, former Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ed Chance and Linda Breazeale, all of who participated in the contracts for the Joe Corley Detention Center and the Montgomery County Mental Health Facility.

It is alleged that Alliance gained over $12 million from the two projects, Ed Chance it is alleged gained close to $500,000 and Linda Breazeale almost one-quarter of a million dollars during her over sight of the project.

After they returned from Executive Session Commissioner Mike Meador made a motion to retract the letter which had already been approved by Commissioners in November until the allegations could be proven. He was the lone vote as none of the other Commissioners agreed with him.
