To all our followers, especially in The Woodlands/Magnolia area, there is presently a pretty severe distemper outbreak in this area. It is drastically affecting raccoons and killing many of them. PLEASE make sure your domestic pets are vaccinated. The variety we are seeing most is canine distemper, which can infect and kill dogs, raccoons, skunks, foxes, and coyotes. There is no cure for this disease. To help stop the spread of distemper, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE PET FOOD OR WATER BOWLS OUTSIDE, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT! If one infected animal eats or drinks from the bowl, any other animal coming along afterwards can also be infected. Thank you!
