Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took plac at 10001 Woodloch Forest. This is between the Huntsman Building and the building that houses The Woodlands Township offices.
At approximately 1:00a.m. MCHD was dispatched to a shooting at the Cheesecake Factory at 1201 Lake Woodlands in the Woodlands Mall area. When they and sheriff’s deputies arrived they learned two white males had been shot. The two males Cezar Centano age 22 and Jorge Estrada age 38 were employees at the Cheesecake Factory and just gotten off work. They rode their bicycles a short distance to 10001 Woodloch Forest where they were approached by two males who attempted to take their bicycles they resisted and were shot. The injuries were not life thretening. They both rode their bicycles back to the Cheesecake Factory where the call for help was placed from.
A Estrada had a shotgun pellet in the temple and had also been shot in the upper arm. Centano was shot in the lower legs. Both were transported to Hermann Woodlands in stable condition. They were alert and talking.
Deputies fanned out to check several locations as to where the shooting happened.
About thirty minutes later they followed some blood on the sidewalk from the mall area back to the original shooting scene. At the 10001 Woodloch Forest location deputies found broken glass and a spent shotgun shell.
Deputies are also looking for a dark or black pickup believed to be involved in this case.
The incident is still under investigation.
