At 4:39 pm Saturday Montgomery County 911 received a call for a truck vs motorcycle crash on FM 149 at FM 1791 in northwest Montgomery County. MCSO was first on the scene and notified EMS a female was injured and a male had CPR in progress. Montgomery Fire arrived and continued CPR until MCHD arrived. The male from Conroe who was in his 50’s was pronounced deceased on the scene at 4:58 pm. The female in her 40’s was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in stable condition. The occupants of the pickup were not injured. According to DPS the pickup was southbound on FM 149. The Harley Davidson was northbound. The pickup turned left onto FM 1791 just as the motorcycle approached the intersection to turn right on FM 1791. The motorcycle slammed into the passenger door of the pickup. There were no signs of impairment on the pickup driver. No charges have been filed at this time. Judge Wayne Mack ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. Stowes wrecker removed the motorcycle from the scene. Redline Wrecker removed the truck from the scene. FM 149 reopened at 7:30 pm.
