FORMER TEACHER GETS FIVE YEARS

VICTORICK,DAVIDLEEDavid Victorick, age 57, a former teacher at The Woodlands College Park High School was arrested in August of 2013 after a month long investigation by the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables Office. He was charged with online solicitation of a minor after he sent text messages of sexual content to a teenage girl in an attempt to engage in sexual conduct.

Victorick who was a teacher and an Assistant Golf Coach as well as Basketball Coach of the College Park Cavaliers.

As he appeared in court this week, the case went to the jury on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday the jury came back with a guilty verdict and Thursday and agreed on a 5-year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Victorick’s punishment could have ranged probation to twenty years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
