MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF’S BLOTTER

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On July 4, Deputy S. Squier was sent to the 11800 block of FM 830 in reference to a welfare concern. The Deputy met with a cab driver who advised he could not wake the male up that was in his cab. The male was wakened and was intoxicated. The 23 year old male from Willis was arrested at 5:39am and transported to jail.

A 45 year old male from Cypress was arrested at 2:22am, July 5, in the area of Lake Conroe Hills Drive and Ridgecrest Drive by Deputy S. Squier for a burglary warrant out of Louisiana. The Deputy was investigating a prowler call. The male was taken to jail.

On July 5, Deputy S. Degner was notified of a disturbance in progress on Pecan Tree Drive. The Deputy observed an intoxicated female standing in the ditch. The 36 year old female from Willis was arrested for public intoxication at 9:28pm and taken to jail.

A 17 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:42am, July 6, in the 14500 block of Enchanted Waters by Sgt. C. Rogers for a burglary of a habitation warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was transported to jail.

A 26 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:30pm, July 6, in the 5500 block of Mandy Lane by Deputy K. Albritton for a forgery warrant and possession of controlled substance. The male was transported to jail.

A 36 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:03am, July 7, in the 15300 block of Ponderosa Circle by Deputies S. Degner and T. Thomas for a possession of marijuana warrant and an evading arrest/detention warrant out of Montgomery County. On searching the male he had marijuana. The Deputies had received prior information on the suspect’s location. The male was taken to jail.

A 23 year old male from Willis was arrested at 10:45pm, July 7, in the 100 block of East Rogers Road by Sgt. C. Rogers for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was taken to jail.

A 22 year old male from Huntsville was arrested at 11:03am, July 9, in the 10500 block of FM 2432 by Deputy J. Kader for a DWI 2nd failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was stopped on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

On July 9, Deputy J. Kader responded to a residence on Longmire Road in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a male victim who stated his girlfriend was angry at him and hit him. The 30 year old female from Dequincy, LA, was arrested at 1:17pm, charged with assault and taken to jail.

On July 10, Deputy K. Underwood was sent to the 14300 block of Koalstad Road in reference to a welfare concern. The Deputy located an intoxicated male in front of a business. The male had been passed out in a vehicle prior to the Deputy’s arrival. The 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:11am and taken to jail.

On July 10, Deputy S. Squier was notified of a family violence assault on West Forest Road. The Deputy met with a male victim who advised his son was intoxicated and had hit him with a closed fist. The father was preventing his son from driving off which caused the confrontation. The 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:06am and taken to jail.

A 43 year old male from Willis was arrested at 8:05pm, July 10, in the 13200 block of Hilltop Court by Deputies T. Thomas and S. Degner for a burglary/bond forfeiture warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputies had received prior information on the male’s location. The male was taken to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On July 6, 2011, Deputy Knight and Deputy Miller were dispatched to a Disturbance at the Taco Bell on Sawdust Road. Two suspects, a 19-year-old female and 20 year old male, both from Conroe, had been inside the restraint screaming and cursing at employees. The female suspect left and pulled her car into the drive thru lane and refused to move. The female suspect was belligerent and hostile towards deputies and continued to curse. The suspect began spitting and kicking in the car. The male suspect approached deputies and refused to comply with orders not to interfere. The male was taken into custody for Interference with Public Duties. The female suspect was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Marijuana. Both were taken to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On July 7, 2011, Deputy Underwood was dispatched to a Welfare Check at Woodland Oaks and Gunnison Drive. Deputy Underwood discovered a single vehicle accident that had struck a utility pole. The driver, 33-year-old male from Magnolia, had bloodshot, glassy eyes and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

On July 8, 2011, Sergeant Barber arrested a 22-year-old male from Spring, for Public Intoxication. The suspect was found sitting in a vehicle that did not belong to him. When approached the suspect took off running and repeatedly fell due to his level of intoxication.

On July 9, 2011, Deputy Underwood was dispatched to a Disturbance in Progress. Upon arrival, Deputy Underwood observed the suspect, 42-year-old male from Crosby, chasing several people in a highly aggressive manner. When Deputy Underwood approached and ordered the suspect to stop the suspect then ran towards an apartment in an effort to get away. Deputy Underwood ordered the suspect to stop several times before being able to force the suspect to the ground and arrest him.

On July 9, 2011, while on patrol in the area of Sawdust and Budde Road, Sergeant Barber observed a vehicle swerving badly and driving into the oncoming lane of traffic. Sgt. Barber conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, 30-year-old female from Spring. After conducting the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On July 9, 2011, Deputy Martin was dispatched to a Shoplifter at 1025 Sawdust Road. The suspects, an 18-year-old female from Spring and an 18-year-old female from Cleveland, attempted to take $92.12 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 07/06/11, Deputy’s Hilado and Azwell were dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart where investigation led to the arrest of a 32 YOA white male for Theft M-B (Shoplifting) that had been detained for concealing merchandise and exiting the store without payment for said merchandise.

On 07/06/11, Deputy Jackson was dispatched to a residence on Fostoria Road in Splendora, Texas for a disturbance in progress where investigation led to the arrest of a 31 YOA female for open warrants through JP4.

On 07/07/11, Deputy’s Hilado and Azwell were summoned to the Adult Probation Office in New Caney, Texas where they arrested a 39 YOA male on an open warrant for Possession of Child Pornography.

On 07/07/11, Deputy Smith was dispatched to the 24600 Block of Alpestrine in New Caney, Texas. Investigation led to the arrest of a 20 YOA white male for attempted burglary of a vehicle as he was caught by the homeowner attempting to get into a vehicle.

On 07/09/11, Sr. Sgt. Rogers was dispatched to a residence on Red Oak in New Caney, Texas. Investigation determined that one of the occupants had a warrant for Burglary of a Habitation. The 39 YOA white female was arrested and transported without incident.

On 07/09/11, Deputy’s Martinez and Ashmore was dispatched to a previously burned residence on W. Hammonds in reference to a Theft. Investigation revealed that the homeowner arrived to find two white males looking through the burned remains. The suspects fled when they learned that the Sheriff’s Office had been summoned. The suspects were quickly located. The 24 YOA and 23 YOA white males were arrested for Theft.

On 07/10/11, Sr. Sgt. Rogers was dispatched to a residence on McGager Lane in New Caney for a family disturbance where one of the involved persons, a 28 YOA white male was found to have several outstanding warrants through JP 4. The suspect was arrested.

On 07/10/11, Deputy Logan was dispatched to a residence on FM 1485 in New Caney, Texas where one of the participants in the disturbance, a 49 YOA white male had an active protective order upon him. The male was arrested for violating the protective order and taken to jail.

On 07/11/11, Deputy’s Azwell and Hilado were dispatched to a Trespasser in Progress on Johnson Road in New Caney, Texas. During investigation, it was learned that a 32 YOA white female had open warrants. The suspect was taken to jail.

On 07/11/11, Cpl Pickerill with his partner Deputy Bartoskewitz went to the 16700 Block of Oak Knoll in Porter, Texas. Upon arrival, they located the cousin of the wanted subject and upon a routine check, this 43 YOA white male returned with an active warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child out of Polk County. He was arrested and taken to jail.

On 07/12/11, Deputy Dunn was dispatched to the 23500 Block of Sweet Gum in New Caney, Texas in reference to a welfare check. A 44 YOA white male returned with an active warrant which was confirmed before his arrested and he was transported without incident.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On July 8th Deputy Curry was dispatched to Sea Horse Lane in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival the deputy met with a 67 year old male and a 64 year old female who had been arguing over a debit card. The female said the male held a hammer in a threatening manner. The man was placed into custody for Assault Family Violence. Deputy Curry transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On July 7th Deputy Curry was dispatched to Sandy Creek in Magnolia in reference to a Family Violence in Progress. A 17 year old female subject was detained and it was determined the teen had come home gotten into an argument with her mother over a cell phone. The female subject was placed into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On July 5th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to Virgie Community Dr. in Magnolia in reference to a Disturbance. The Reportee advised she had seen her 45 year old husband smoking marijuana outside of their house. She confronted him and told him she was going to call the police. The male hid the Marijuana in the yard so it could not be found. Upon arrival Deputy Provenzano could detect a strong odor of burned Marijuana coming from the male subject. The subject was taken into custody since he had intentionally hid evidence from the Deputy. The suspect was charged with Tampering with Evidence and he was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On July 2nd Deputy LaSalle was dispatched to Burlington Road in Magnolia in reference to an Assault In Progress. Upon arrival Deputy LaSalle met with the Complainant who advised that a 50 year old male had assaulted her and she believed he had broken her finger. The male subject admitted to arguing but only pushed her to stop her from slapping him. The Deputy placed the male subject into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On June 28th Deputy Curry was dispatched to East Boardwalk Drive in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival Deputy Curry met with an 18 year old male who refused to speak. Deputy Curry detained him and placed him in his patrol car. The Deputy spoke with a 16 year old female who advised she had told the male subject he could not drive because he had been drinking and that the 18 year then assaulted her. Deputy Curry placed the male subject into custody for Felony Assault Family Violence (Strangulation).

On June 26th Deputy Mittag went into the Chevron Station on HWY 249 and noticed a male subject trying to buy tobacco without identification. The Deputy followed the subject to his vehicle outside of the store and asked him for his ID. The deputy found that the suspect was wanted for a parole violation. When asked to turn around and put his hand behind his back the subject began to back away from the Deputy in order to flee. The Deputy was able to detain the subject even as the subject resisted. The subject was placed into custody for the Warrant and an additional charge of Resisting Arrest.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)

July 6th Deputy Jackson was dispatched to an establishment 16400 block of SH 105 W in regards to a Disturbance. The female subject responsible was located and detained by officers. Investigation revealed that this subject had two outstanding warrants. The subject was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

July 7th Deputy Davis responded to the 14900 block of SH 105 W in regards to Burglary of a Vehicle. The Complainant reported that someone had forced entry into his vehicle and stole electronic items. The estimated value of items taken was $900. This case is under investigation by the Patrol Division.

July 7th Deputy Pugh was dispatched to Springs Edge Drive in regards to the Burglary of two vehicles. Both Complainants reported that someone had entered their unlocked vehicles during the night and stole several electronic articles and personal items. These cases are currently under investigation by the Patrol Division.

July 8th Sgt. Spiller and Deputy Howze responded to the 15100 block of FM 2854 for the report of a found 3 year old child standing along the road. The child was taken into protective custody while the parent and Children’s Protective Services was notified. The mother was arrested for Endangering a Child and taken to jail. The child was released to CPS where placement with a relative was pending.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On July 7, 2011, Deputy Rascoe and Deputy Ansley were sent to a residence on Kerouac Ct. in reference to a Warrant Service. The suspect, 40-year-old male, was on location and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the South Montgomery County Jail.

On July 7, 2011, Sergeant Sumrall, while on patrol on Woodlands Parkway near Water Way Avenue, observed a silver passenger car traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle swerved onto the shoulder twice, then crossed two lanes of traffic abruptly to make a left hand turn. The 39-year-old male from Spring was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On July 7, 2011, Deputy Prince, arrested a 35 year old female from Spring, after a traffic stop on Six Pines Drive. Upon approach the vehicle, Deputy Prince noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. The suspect had a difficult time maintaining her balance during the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, and demonstrated multiple clues for intoxication. At the conclusion of the tests, the suspect was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On July 8, 2011, Deputy Prince responded with Deputy Uber to a Welfare Check on Grogan’s Mill and Mill Park Drive. The suspect vehicle was reported to be partially blocking traffic on Grogan’s Mill. The suspect, 37-year-old male from The Woodlands, was found passed out behind the wheel. After being checked out by emergency medical services, the suspect agreed to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. At the conclusion of the tests, the suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On July 9, 2011, Deputy Conklin arrested 31-year-old female from The Woodlands for Public Intoxication after observing her being carried out of a bar on Water Way Avenue. The suspect did not have anyone with her willing to take care and custody of her. She was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On July 9, 2011, Deputy Norum was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a Shoplifter. The suspect, 15-year-old female from Conroe, attempted to take $157.50 worth of merchandise from Claire’s. The suspect was charged with Theft and released into her father’s custody.

On July 10, 2011, Deputy Houstoun was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a Shoplifter. The suspect, 49-year-old female from Spring, attempted to take $339.18 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was charged with Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Due to prior Theft convictions, charges were upgraded to a State Jail
