On April 5, 2011, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit served a narcotics search warrant at a residence located in the 5100 Block of Green Water Dr. in Willis, Texas.
The SIU received a TIP that the suspects were trafficking and growing Hydroponic Marijuana from within the residence. The SIU established probable cause for the warrant and served the warrant at approximately 3:00 pm.
During this investigation two bags containing approximately 1.32 pounds of Hydro marijuana was seized along with an electronic scale, over $2000 in U.S. Currency, a small amount of cocaine, computers cell phones and components of an indoor marijuana grow system which included lights, ballasts, special dirt and chemicals and fertilizers. Also seized were 49 marijuana plants that Meghann Ashley Kotellos age 27 was growing in the home. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana.
Also, arrested was 27-year-old Joshua Kuzmann. He is charged with possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence.
Hydro marijuana THC content is higher than marijuana grown outdoors and sells in our area for $5500.00 a pound.
