Comments: PLEA Christine A396124 2 years old Labrador Retriever mix About 49lbs Ms. Christine is a petite lab that is another dog picked up as a stray running around with other dogs. She is a bit of a shy one so we can guess that interactions with humans were very limited as she was growing up. That said, timid, yes, but also very calm, easy on a leash. She likes treats, although I found she would rather take from the ground rather than your hand. As with a lot of shy dogs, she really comes out of her shell when she has other dogs to interact with. So – a great home for Christine would ideally include at least one other dog, one to play with and one that will teach her how to dog. Fostering or adopting a shy dog can most definitely be a most rewarding experience. In the beginning there is definitely a “get to know each other period. Chances are though, with time, a bond will form. We would love to see Christine be given that chance!
