TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO THREE ARRESTS IN SPLENDORA

Officers with The City of Splendora Police Department initiated a traffic stop while out on patrol. Contact was made with the driver, who then identified with a fake name. After detecting a strong odor of marijuana, all occupants were removed from the vehicle, and a search was conducted. A stolen pistol was located underneath the passenger seat, and another pistol was located in the backseat. The search also yielded 3.3oz of Marijuana, 13.85g of Hydrocodone, 13.25g of Adderall, .5g of Ecstacy, 17.15g of Oxycodone, 2.7g of Xanax, as well as a large sum of cash.

The driver was finally identified as Chatt, Dewaeland. Dewaeland was charged with a Blue Warrant and Fail to ID.

The front passenger, Byles, Caterra, was charged with Possession Controlled Substance and Unlawful Carrying Weapon.

The back passenger, Beasley, Kevon, was charged with Unlawful Possession Firearm By Felon and Possession Controlled Substance.
All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
