At 11:25 pm Wednesday South Montgomery County and The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 11600 block of Pinyon Place. Units arrived to find the chimney on the outside of the house of fire. The fire had spread through the ceiling and into the attic area. The owner said she came into a house full of smoke. As they went outside is when they spotted the flames on the outside wall. The home suffered heavy fire damage to the upper floor and extensive water damage. There were no injuries.
