At 3:40 pm Caney Creek was dispatched to a house fire in the 600 block of Bellingrath in the River Plantation Subdivision. The first truck arrived with heavy fire showing from the two-story home. Conroe, Woodlands, and North Montgomery County Fire along with Porter Fire assisted. Firefighters were finally able to bring the blaze under control. One Conroe Fire Fighter suffered minor injuries after a partial collapse. He was transported to Conroe Regional HCA Hospital in stable condition. The Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office is investigating.
