ANOTHER SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT FM1485 AND FIRETOWER

Once again Wednesday afternoon New Caney firefighters were pushed into action to cut 38-year-old Stacie Buckle of Conroe out of her crumpled Honda Civic.
According to DPS Trooper Ashley Zendt, Donna Golden, 57 Of New Caney had just left a friends and was enroute to visit her husband in the Woodlands. Golden was northbound on FM 1485 approaching Firetower Road. As she entered the curve she ran off the right side of the road and over corrected putting her in the southbound lane and in the path of Ms. Buckle.
They collided head-on with no evidence of skid mark.
Ms. Golden was taken to Kingwood Hospital by MCHD in stable condition.
As firefighters continued to free Ms. Buckle other crews set up a landing zone for Life Flight and yet another tended to Ms. Buckles 13-year-old son who was in the front seat with her. He was taken to Kingwood Hospital also by MCHD.
Firefighters continued another forty five minutes using rescue tools to free Buckle who was then transported to Hermann Hospital in Houston on Life Flight in serious condition with multiple fractures.
The scene was only feet away from the April 18, 2010 crash that killed Lisa Andrews (https://montgomerycountypolicereporter.com/?p=5084) and across the street from the April 7th, 2010 crash that entrapped the driver up in his overturned pickup. (https://montgomerycountypolicereporter.com/?p=4906).
