From October 15–18, six members of the Conroe Police Department SWAT Team traveled to Pasadena, TX, to compete in the 2026 Texas Tactical Police Officers Association (TTPOA) SWAT Competition.
Throughout the four-day competition, our team took on a variety of challenging events, including pistol relays, sniper challenges, obstacle courses, and hostage rescue scenarios.
With 44 teams competing from across Texas and other states, Conroe PD SWAT finished 31st overall!
This competition is a great opportunity for our officers to put their training and skills to the test while competing against some of the best SWAT teams in the state and beyond. It also gives them a chance to learn from other teams and bring that experience back to our department.
Great job to our SWAT Team for their hard work and for representing the Conroe Police Department!
