HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Sunday, a deputy with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance in the 23700 block of Greenland Oak Court in Spring. Further investigation indicated 30-year-old Quanisha Thomas allegedly unlawfully entered the complainant’s residence and assaulted the complainant.
Harris County District Clerk records show Thomas was charged class A misdemeanor Assault of Family Member in 2014, but the case was dismissed. In 2020, Thomas was charged with second-degree felony Aggravated Assault/Family Violence. According to the complaint, the weapon involved in the charge, raising it from a misdemeanor charge to a felony, was a vehicle. In that case, Thomas pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of class A misdemeanor Assault/Family Violence.
Thomas is now charged with second-degree felony Burglary of a Habitation. According to related documents, the residence belongs to a member of Thomas’s family.
“Quanisha Thomas was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond was set at $12,000 out of the 178th District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.
Thomas has since been released on bond.
